Agatha Karra is an LLM attorney with a postgraduate degree in European Law & Politics and Civil Law.

Since 2020, she has been a partner of the “learningforteams” company, contributing to the production of educational material. She has taught legislative issues to bodies such as the National Center for Public Administration, the National Confederation of Disabled People of Greece, and the Social Empowerment NPO. She has received a DPO certification from a relevant seminar of the Athens Bar Association on issues of personal data protection.

From 2011 to 2017, she had been Vice President of the Railway Regulatory Authority. From 2009 to 2010, she was a special associate in the office of the Deputy Minister of Health and Social Solidarity. In addition, she specializes in the field of human rights, with an emphasis on disabled people’s rights. She is Deputy Secretary-General and in charge of international relations of the National Federation for the Blind of Greece and the Panhellenic Association of the Blind.

Furthermore, she is Vice-Chair of the Liaison Committee of the European Blind Union with the EU institutions. She also writes articles on websites of social and humanitarian interest. She has given presentations and speeches at conferences and seminars on modern social and political issues. She speaks excellent English and French and very good German.
