- General information
The Non-Profit Civil Partnership ‘Me Alla Matia’ (the “Enterprise” or “We”) may organise and/or hold competitions via the website www.meallamatia.gr and its accounts on social networking media (“SNM”), including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok.
Competitions are announced via a relevant post (the “Post”) uploaded by the Enterprise to its website and/or SNM indicating the prizes offered to winners following a lottery, the entry submission deadline and the time of the lottery to pick winners.
- How to enter
Only natural persons who have attained the age of 18, are permanently domiciled in Greece and — where entering the competition is only possible via SNM — have a personal account on the SNM in question have the right to enter competitions. Each natural person has the right to submit only one competition entry. No entrant is entitled to more than one prize.
Entries in the competition are submitted:
- via the entry form found on the Enterprise’s website;
- automatically, in the case of competitions held via SNM, when the user of the SNM in question cumulatively “likes”/”follows” the relevant accounts of the Enterprise and of the Associate, “likes” the Post concerning the competition and Comments under the Post, and tags one or more users of the SNM in question by using the “@” symbol. Replies/comments under comments made by other entrants shall not be valid and shall not be considered as entries.
Comments containing offensive, abusive, racist or illegal content shall be deleted immediately and the user shall not be entitled to enter the competition.
Entering the competition does not require purchasing any product or paying any monetary amount or consideration.
The Enterprise shall not consider entries which infringe these terms and/or the law to be valid.
The Enterprise shall bear no liability whatsoever if, on grounds beyond its influence and control, including malfunction or cessation of operation of any SNM platform, the submission of any entry fails or is delayed or the information (likes, comments) of entries is deleted or destroyed, whether in whole or in part.
- Lottery
At the time set in the Post for the lottery, the Enterprise, after having compiled the entries submitted during the relevant deadline, shall conduct an online lottery at its offices using the Random Comment Picker (https://commentpicker.com/) platform to produce the winner(s) (depending on the number of prizes). The Random Comment Picker platform ensures the randomness of the choice and impossibility of human intervention. The Enterprise is entitled to postpone the lottery date by notifying entrants-users in a new post uploaded to its website or SNM page.
The winners’ names shall be announced in a post uploaded to the website of the Enterprise or (as a post or story) to the SNM of the Enterprise — where the competition is held via SNM — within two days of the lottery.
Each prize is absolutely personal and may not be transferred, redeemed or exchanged for money or other prizes. If the winner does not accept the prize, their claim to receive the prize shall be extinguished and the Enterprise may dispose of the prize at its discretion.
Where the Enterprise cannot provide the competition prize, it shall be entitled to replace it with a different prize of equal value, at its discretion. Where reasons of force majeure apply, the Enterprise shall be entitled not to provide the gift, shall be released from all liability and shall not owe compensation to the winners.
The Enterprise shall not be liable for any losses incurred by the winner or any third party due to use of the prize, and shall in no way participate in the provision of any services included in the prize. The Enterprise shall not be liable for side effects and losses from use of the gift due to careless or incorrect use or fault on the part of the manufacturer, such as fault in manufacture, insufficient information or guidance accompanying the products (prizes), build quality, material safety and actual or legal defects.
Within 3 days from the announcement of the winners, Competition winners must contact the Enterprise, either via e-mail at info@meallamatia.services or via personal message sent to the inbox of the Enterprise’s page on the SNM on which the competition was held, in order to be informed of how and when to use/receive their prize. More specifically, they shall be asked to provide an address to ship the prize, their full name and telephone number for further communication. All prizes shall be shipped via courier service, and the shipping costs shall be borne by the Enterprise. Collection shall take place in accordance with the procedure laid down by each courier company.
If a winner does not contact the Enterprise within the aforesaid deadline, they shall forfeit their rights to the prize, and the Enterprise may dispose of it at its discretion.
The Enterprise shall not be liable if a Competition winner is not made aware of the winner announcement on any grounds, and shall not be liable to compensate the winner for any loss of their rights to the prize.

- Other Terms
Competition entrants accept that SNM platforms are not related to and do not manage, promote or support competitions in any manner, and shall not raise any claim in relation to the competition against the SNM on which the competition is being held.
The Enterprise shall not be liable for any damage caused to the SNM and/or their computer systems or telecommunications networks which could result in the competition or the possibility of entering it temporarily or permanently ceasing.
The Enterprise shall bear no liability whatsoever for any losses incurred by entrants or third parties due to risks which face internet users and which might manifest in the context of use of the competition website or SNM, and does not warrant that websites, services, choices or their results are correct, full and available at all times. Each interested party/entrant is exclusively responsible for ensuring that their device and files are protected from computer viruses, spyware, malware, ransomware, DDoS Attacks, etc. by using special software. The Enterprise shall bear no liability for any damage to the hardware, software and device data of entrants, as well as any other losses incurred by entrants or third parties due to the aforesaid risks.
The Enterprise reserves the right to amend, abort or cancel the competition and extend or curtail its term of duration without prior notice, at its discretion, and to change the terms and dates/deadlines for entering the competition. All amendments shall be published on this website and shall automatically take effect upon publication.
Any disputes arising from the competition shall be subject to the law of the Greek State, including European Regulations. Any dispute between the Enterprise and competition entrants shall be resolved through amicable negotiations. If this is not possible, the Greek courts shall have jurisdiction and the courts of Athens shall have jurisdiction ratione loci.
Any dispute arising in relation to this promotional action shall be exclusively brought to the Courts of Athens, and Greek law shall be applied.
Submitting a competition entry implies understanding and acknowledging the binding nature of these terms. The submission of an entry declaration creates an irrebuttable presumption that the entrant unreservedly accepts these terms.
- Personal data processing notice
The enterprise ‘ME ALLA MATIA’ CIVIL NON-PROFIT PARTNERSHIP – SOCIAL WELFARE SERVICES, TIN 997230535, with registered offices in Ilion, Attica at 25, Elaion Street, GR-13123, e-mail info@meallamatia.services, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the relevant national and European provisions of the relevant legislation, notifies entrants, in its capacity as Processor, that it will process their personal data and, more specifically, their full names and contact details (telephone number/e-mail address) entered in the Competition entry form on the website of the Enterprise or their profile name on the SNM pages of the Enterprise (in cases of competitions held via SNM), as well as the addresses of winners, for the following purposes:
1) to hold the Competition/lottery, produce winners and publish the relevant results;
2) the winners’ personal data will be processed in order to contact and inform them and provide/deliver the prize to them;
3) the winners’ personal data will be communicated to the enterprise – Associate in order for the winners to receive the services corresponding to the prize;
4) entrants’ e-mail addresses will be processed, with their consent, in order for the Enterprise to send newsletters and other commercial promotion messages concerning services of the Civil Non-Profit Partnership ‘Me Alla Matia’, news, events, offers, discounts and competitions held by the Enterprise. Entrants’ personal data will be transmitted to associated (advertising/promotion) companies exclusively in service of the aforesaid purpose.
Entrants’ personal data will be retained, using appropriate technical and organisational measures, until the Competition for which they are collected has been concluded and the prizes have been received by the winners. The personal data of those who choose to receive notifications will be retained as long as they wish to receive such notifications, and they will be given the option to unsubscribe from all communication.
Providing your data is optional. Refusal to provide the data we request precludes you from entering the Competition or us from contacting you in service of the aforesaid processing purposes, as the case may be. If you revoke your consent, the Enterprise will be unable to process your Competition entry, which will be cancelled.
You have the right to information, access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability of your personal data, the right to object to processing and the right to revoke this consent, without prejudice to the lawfulness of processing based on consent given prior to its withdrawal. In order to exercise your aforesaid rights, you can contact us via e-mail at info@meallamatia.services. The Civil Non-Profit Partnership ‘Me Alla Matia’ is a Processor for all data processing exclusively for the purposes and in the manner it specifies itself. As of the date the winners’ details are communicated to the Associate, the latter shall be designated as Processor for all processing of winners’ data in the context or providing them with the services corresponding to the prize, as well as for all other processing of personal data for the purposes and in the manner specified by the Associate.
