The Museum of Cycladic Art and the Non-Profit Company “Me Alla Matia” co-organize a partnership program on familiarization with disability, accessibility, and inclusion in a museum environment.
Now, as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility, companies can offer their employees the experience of Cycladic Culture in a different way.
In this team-building program, participants will be invited to temporarily set aside their sight, and experience the museum with their other senses, supported by a blind guide. Through a brief exploration of the challenges faced by disabled individuals in their daily lives and cultural activities, participants will be introduced to guiding techniques for visually impaired individuals. They will then experience the adapted exhibition “In Touch with Cycladic Culture.” This thematic route for visitors with visual impairment includes tactile replicas of exhibits, audio guides, Braille, large print, and tactile maps. The program concludes with reflections and feedback from participants, facilitated by specialists in the field of disability.
In addition to corporate actions, the program is open to any group that forms and desires to have this exciting experience!
