At a highly significant event, our NPO was honored by the Mayor of Elliniko–Argyroupoli, Mr. Giannis Konstantatos, in recognition of its sustained contribution and dedicated efforts in promoting equality and the inclusion of disabled people. The award was presented within the framework of the 1st National Local Government Forum for Persons with Disabilities, titled “Equality – Daily Life – Inclusion: A Society Without Exclusions,” an initiative aspiring to become a landmark platform for dialogue and cooperation on disability rights.

It was a great privilege for us to take part in this substantive dialogue, which encompassed a wide array of critical thematic areas, emphasizing the principles of genuine equality and inclusion. These principles aim to shape a truly unobstructed everyday environment, ensuring equal access to services, opportunities, and participation for all. It is noteworthy that this dialogue took place in a remarkable setting—the most modern disability-focused facility in Greece—an initiative of the Mayor of Elliniko–Argyroupoli, supported exclusively by Lamda Development.

We express our sincere gratitude to the Mayor of Elliniko–Argyroupoli, Mr. Giannis Konstantatos, for this esteemed recognition of our work.

This award reaffirms our commitment to continuing our efforts toward a society where inclusion and equality are not merely aspirations, but lived reality.
