nclusion in education & the workplace starts with the people who design processes & put them into practice every day.

We are delighted to continue the collaboration between Me Alla Matia NPO & New York College, bringing disability & inclusion into both the education of tomorrow’s professionals & the wider academic community.

📌 As part of a postgraduate HR programme, we delivered training on inclusive approaches to disabled candidates & employees: from drafting job advertisements & the selection & interview process, through to onboarding & the day-to-day workplace experience.

📌 On Saturday, 19 September, to mark the start of the new academic year, we met with New York College faculty members for a short seminar on the inclusion of disabled students in the educational process. We discussed different approaches to teaching, the individuality of each student &, above all, how we can create the conditions that enable every person to fulfil their potential.

For us, this collaboration is particularly valuable because it connects two crucial areas: education & employment.

In both, inclusion is built when, instead of asking people to ‘fit’ into an existing system, we consider how the system itself can become more accessible, appropriate & flexible in responding to human diversity.

We would like to thank New York College for its trust & continued commitment to investing in a more inclusive academic & professional culture.
