Inditex is one of the world’s largest fashion retail groups, with a strong international presence and an extensive network of stores. Through its brands, the Group offers contemporary apparel products and pursues strategies that promote sustainability and social responsibility.

During the training, various issues related to the everyday experiences of disabled persons were discussed, as well as the ways in which staff can provide prompt and effective service to customers facing accessibility barriers.

The topics covered included:

  • The specifications that store spaces and fitting rooms should meet in order to be fully accessible to individuals with mobility impairments.

  • Practical guidelines for assisting and accompanying blind customers.

  • Appropriate terminology and communication tips when interacting with disabled persons.

The speakers also shared best practices in communication and customer service from Greece and abroad, offering staff a meaningful understanding of the needs and experiences of disabled customers.

The strong participation and keen interest shown by employees confirmed both the need for and the value of expanding such initiatives.
