NGO “Me Alla Matia” | Activity Report

With the close of the year, the NPO presents a comprehensive report of its activities, highlighting both its long-term trajectory and the dynamic expansion of its collaborations over the past year. Many of our partnerships were seen only in social media posts, but they deserve a full summary and acknowledgment, expressing our gratitude for the trust that new corporate partners have placed in our expert team.

Since its founding in 2018, our Social Enterprise has worked systematically to promote inclusion, universal accessibility, and equal participation of disabled people in all areas of social, professional, and public life. Over these eight years, it has developed a broad and steadily growing network of partnerships with organizations, companies, and institutions that continue to support its work, demonstrating that social change can be achieved through knowledge, experiential learning, and collective responsibility. “Me Alla Matia” has maintained many active collaborations over the years, providing a solid foundation for the continuation of its initiatives and strengthening its long-term strategy for equal participation for all individuals.

During the past year, the NPO had the honor of launching new, meaningful partnerships with significant companies across various sectors. Beyond the separate press releases published last year, it is worth noting that activities and programs were implemented in collaboration with EYDAP, the Saracakis Group of Companies, Inditex, Ortholife, Optima Bank, Topigs Norsvin Hellas with whom we conducted educational programs for serving customers with disabilities as well as Nespresso Hellas, with which we implemented a digital accessibility workshop.

These collaborations included training programs for properly serving clients and consumers with disabilities, sharing practical communication and service tips, experiential workshops for familiarization with disability, initiatives to strengthen inclusive culture in workplaces, and specialized training in digital accessibility according to international standards.

A common thread across all activities was active participation, dialogue, and highlighting the lived experiences of disabled people themselves.

At the core of “Me Alla Matia”’s work remains the elimination of underrepresentation of disabled people in public discourse, employment, education, and social participation. Through initiatives that shift the focus from the individual to the barriers created by the environment, the NPO actively contributes to breaking down stereotypes and promoting an inclusive society. This is reflected in its current portfolio, which includes 351 custom-made training and consulting programs for companies, organizations, and municipalities, training 19,354 employers and employees on disability, accessibility, and inclusion, as well as 1,096 free school programs on disability delivered through the school program “See Life Through Other Eyes,” authorized by the Ministry of Education, reaching 88,338 students and 6,901 teachers.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all new partners for their trust, as well as to our longstanding corporate partners and sponsors who continue to support our work.
