A campaign for inclusion that has exceeded every expectation of reach!

The #SpeakUp campaign by “Me Alla Matia,” a visibility initiative highlighting disabled people and their everyday lives, which began circulating through our social media channels, has surpassed 20,000,000 views!

At meallamatia.gr we aim to:

✅ break stereotypes and prejudices about disability
✅ transform the “non-televisual,” as it is often considered, image of disability into a normal part of everyday life
✅ challenge the underrepresentation of disabled people in the media and public discourse
✅ highlight everyday aspects of disabled people and their families
✅ use videos as an educational and awareness-raising tool

⏩ So far, the 🎥 230 videos created within the #SpeakUp campaign have gathered 20,750,000 views across social media. We share them with you via Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and now TikTok as well!

The campaign seeks to answer many questions such as:

❓ What is the daily life of a disabled person like?
❓ What are the real barriers?
❓ What does assistive technology mean?

For example:

These and many more questions are answered in our #SpeakUp campaign, which continues to grow and spread!

👍 One like, one share, and—why not—a video of your own using the hashtag #SpeakUp can help us keep the campaign going!
