We are delighted to have successfully completed another cycle of the educational program “See Life Through Different Eyes” in Mytilene! Over the course of two days, we collaborated with 8 schools, engaging with 854 students and 73 teachers.

Blind lawyer Vangelis Avgoulas, through a genuine dialogue with the students, shared his daily experiences and insights regarding disability, accessibility, and inclusion. The coordination with the schools across Lesbos was made possible with the assistance of the Deputy Mayor of Education and professor, Mr. Eleftherios Kotsonis.

Participating schools:

  • Kalloni Primary School

  • Kalloni Vocational High School (EPAL)

  • Kalloni Gymnasium

  • Music Gymnasium

  • Evening Vocational High School (EPAL)

  • 5th Gymnasium of Mytilene

  • 15th Primary School of Mytilene

  • 2nd General Lyceum (GEL) of Mytilene

A heartfelt thank you to the Athina I. Martinou Foundation for its invaluable support, which enables the program to reach schools across the Greek islands free of charge.
