She is a psychologist, author, and content creator focusing on blindness and disability. As a psychologist, she graduated from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences and is currently undergoing training in the psychology and counseling of chronic illness and disability. In August 2024, her book titled “The Diary of a Blind Woman: Stories of Everyday Sexism and Ableism in Greece” was published by The Law Of Success Publishing—the only one of her works with an autobiographical character.
For the past three years, she has maintained the blog christinasarri.com, through which, as well as via the Facebook page of the same name, she shares educational (and other) material about blindness. She gives weekly talks on disability at schools, companies, and cultural venues.
She follows intersectional feminism and the social model of disability, identifies as a supporter of minority rights, and is a handler of a guide dog named Luna.
