The National Fund of Greece (or Growthfund), in collaboration with the Non-Profit enterprise “Me Alla Matia”, developed a series of actions and training sessions with the aim of an Inclusive Strategy in the subsidiaries of the Hellenic Corporation of Assets and Participations SA. With the motto “Becoming Accessible Together, Everywhere”, a training seminar was implemented named “The accessibility of corporate communication tools” for the Communication, Sustainability, and Marketing executives of its subsidiaries and holdings, such as EYDAP.

This training, aimed at inclusive planning and accessibility to services provided for all disabled people, supported EYDAP in evolving its services. So, this year, for the first time, the Company turned its 2021 Sustainable Development Report into a “talking document” for equal access to information for visually impaired people in the context of reducing inequities and social exclusion. At the same time, in the printed report, the introduction is in Braille and in a large font that guides the reader to the audio file.

Please find the audio report on the accessible EYDAP website.

The general accessibility consulting services provided by the Non-profit Civil Partnership “Me Alla Matia” to the Growthfund have been opening a new page of inclusion in the organization and its subsidiaries for months. With training sessions supporting disabled passengers, accessibility assessment of places such as the “Consumer’ s Market” of the Central Market and Fishery Organizations with frequent improvement proposals, pilot adaptations of accessibility at busy stations such as Monastiraki, and provision of consultancy for access to information and assessment of website accessibility, we are laying the foundations for a future in which we will walk together.

The services provided by “Me Alla Matia” are also supervised by focus groups of disabled people with different impairments so that the material produced and the service offered follow the legislation and European guidelines and are also certified by the end user.
